Terwijl de groei en export in de eurozone aantrekt, is er in het VK en de VS sprake van een afzwakking van de groei en export. Mogelijk is dit verschil te wijten aan de kwantitatieve verruiming van de ECB al spelen er ook andere factoren.

Versnelling economische groei zet door in 2016 (Dutch)

De Nederlandse economie groeit in 2015 en 2016 met 1 3/4%. Als verdere geopolitieke onrust uitblijft en het vertrouwen herstelt, kan de groei hoger uitvallen. Enkele factoren maken een sneller dan verwacht mondiaal economisch herstel mogelijk, zoals de lagere olieprijzen, de lagere inflatie en dus koopkrachtwinst voor consumenten, en –voor de eurozone- extra steun door de zwakkere euro.
