The EU council approved the EU-UK Brexit deal on 25 November. The document sets out the divorce conditions. It also includes an outline of the envisaged future economic partnership in the appendix. The approval of the UK parliament is still pending.

The United Kingdom and the EU have reached a deal in the Brexit negotiations. Unfortunately the road to an orderly Brexit remains a bumpy one and getting the deal approved by the UK Parliament is the main challenge.

During the crisis, unemployment in Spain increased rapidly. In the past years, employment has substantially recovered due to strong economic growth and labour market reforms. That said, the unemployment rate is still high and significant challenges remain.

De Belgische economische groei in het derde kwartaal komt uit op 0,4 procent, de jaarlijkse groei in 2018 wordt waarschijnlijk 1,4 procent. De Europese Commissie is kritisch op de ingediende begroting van België, maar de gevolgen zijn waarschijnlijk klein.
