The Netherlands: GDP growth held back by lower gas production

Dutch GDP growth in the second quarter of 2015 seems to have been very negatively impacted by lower gas extraction. However, underlying economic growth remains on track.

House prices and sales will increase this and next year, due to the economic recovery, the good affordability and high consumer confidence. We expect this to be stronger than the issue of negative equity and the tightening of lending criteria.
