De Nederlandse economie groeide in het derde kwartaal van 2016 met 0,7 procent ten opzichte van het tweede kwartaal, dit is beduidend sterker dan in de meeste eurozone lidstaten. Ondanks de internationale onzekerheden neemt het exportvolume verder toe. De werkgelegenheid is opnieuw sterk toegenomen.

Nederland en de wereld zijn gebaat bij Clinton als nieuwe Amerikaanse president. Vergeleken met Trump zorgt zij voor minder (geo-)politieke spanningen en voor meer economische stabiliteit in Amerika en de rest van de wereld.
